The serial Lord of the Rings is heading for a grand finale, in which the fates of many inhabitants of Middle-earth will be concluded. The second season of Amazon’s megalomaniacal project culminates in the ongoing battle for the Eregion, and it looks like the dwarves will finally manage to come to the aid of the Elven army. However, their pursuit of riches frees the Balrog and Elendil finally obtains the famous sword Narsil.

The series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power continues in its second series and before we knew it, the grand finale is already here. This will bring the continuation of the battle for Eregion, which the elven army under the leadership of Gil-galad is trying to defend with all their might. However, from the new trailer, it seems that the coveted dwarven reinforcements from Moria will eventually arrive as well. The question remains at what price. For Durin may have to make a difficult decision regarding his father, and the desire for mithril will be punished by the release of shadow and flame in the form of the deadly Balrog. Or are the creators just pulling us by the nose for the second time and the Balrog will arrive again only in outlines?
Let’s hope not. However, Galadriel faces Sauron again in a pivotal sword duel for Morgoth’s crown. And there will obviously be fun in Númenor too, where Elendil will finally see the sword of Narsil raised. The question remains how the creators will cram all this into the episode. The finale with the wizard from the East and the Stranger from the Istar series, who we all know is Gandalf anyway, is supposed to be part of it. In addition, it is confirmed that although the second series is significantly more entertaining than the previous one, dramaturgically, the creators fumble and often wade in the illogicality of time, hasty decisions of the characters, strange jumps in the plot and often strongly cut lines, of which they have perhaps created too many. The final part of the second series will arrive on the morning of Thursday, October 3rd.
