Yet the golden age of Red Star FC, Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine football club, is far behind it, its last Coupe de France victory dating back to 1942. Established as an all-sports and literature club in 1897 in Paris by Jules Rimet, the club quickly specialized in football. At the time, the discipline was still nascent in France, unlike England. And that is why the founder is inspired, it is at least the legend who wants it, by the name of the transatlantic company Red Star Line to baptize his club.
