NEW YORK – Rare natural phenomena moon eclipse The partial lunar eclipse expected on November 19 will be the longest lunar eclipse of the century.

As reported by Unilad, Friday (11/12/2021), according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the lunar eclipse will last for three hours and 28 minutes.

In 2018, a full moon eclipse lasted one hour 42 minutes and 57 seconds.

Usually, the eclipse will last less than two hours, so this natural phenomenon that will occur in mid-November is considered the longest lunar eclipse.

The month at the end of November is also known as ‘freezing month’ or ‘beaver month’.

This means that this lunar eclipse will be a partial ‘blood moon’ with a reddish color visible on the lunar surface.

Blood moon is the name given to the phenomenon of a full moon eclipse that occurs when the position of the earth is exactly between the sun and the moon so that the earth’s shadow covers the moon.

On November 19, it is estimated that nearly 97 percent of the moon will be protected from Earth.

Between 2001 and 2100, a total of 288 phenomena moon eclipse expected to happen.
