What are the new incentives
The refinancing of the eco-bonus, therefore, also provides for a specific allocation for the purchase of used cars. This is an incentive from 2,500 to 4,500 euros, which is recognized exclusively in the case of scrapping of an old car. Also in this case, the subsidy amount is calibrated on the basis of the vehicle’s emissions. Thus, a bonus of 4,500 euros will be due for used cars from 0-60 g / km. Or, a bonus of 3,000 euros for used cars from 61-90 / km and finally, a bonus of 2,500 euros for used cars from 91-160 g / km.

The amendment presented during the conversion phase of the Sostegni bis decree therefore proposes the allocation of a total of 350 million euros. They will be divided as follows: 50 million euros for the new low-emission used car bonus. Then, another 50 million for the eco-bonus recognized for cars with 0-60 grams of CO2 per km, electric and plug-in hybrids. A good 200 million euros, on the other hand, for vehicles from 61-135 grams of CO2 per km, therefore also some traditional Euro 6 models. Finally, 50 million for low-emission commercial vehicles.
