The London Stock Exchange rises 0.33%, driven by European parks

London, Nov 5 (EFE) .- The London Stock Exchange closed the session this Friday with a rise of 0.33%, driven by advances in most European markets.

The FTSE-100, the main index in the British capital, advanced 24.05 points, to 7,303.96 integers, while the secondary FTSE-250 gained 0.54%, 125.68 points, to 23,596.79 integers.

At the close of the stock market, the British pound lost 0.09% against the euro, to 1.1678 euros, and was stable against the US dollar, at 1.3507 dollars.

On the London floor, the airline group International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) led the gains, advancing by 6.11%, while the automobile company Rolls Royce Holdings rose by 5.82%, the publisher Informa by 5.66% , the investor Melrose Industries a 4.33% and the television channel ITV a 3.37%.

By contrast, Darktrace led the losses, with a fall of 3.59%, the DIY retailer Kingfisher fell 2.83%, the chemical Croda International 2.83%, the delivery firm Ocado Group 2.68% and the Royal Mail postal company 1.97%. EFE
