The Loire prefecture specifies that “these storms could be locally strong with a risk of hail and gusts of the order of 70 to 90 km / h, or even very locally 100 km / h. The rains may be intense for a short time. “Before continuing:” after evacuation of this first stormy passage during the night, we will benefit from a lull before a second stormy passage from Sunday morning affecting the whole of the department. These thunderstorms could be even more violent than those passed during the night, with briefly intense rains, a high risk of hail and gusts often exceeding 100 km / h. »
It is advisable to limit outdoor activities, travel, not to go for a walk in the forest and to remain vigilant about falling objects and in the event of public events under marquees.
