Midweek shifts, breaks and National
They appear in the calendar five midweek shifts, of which four before Christmas: 22 September, 27 October, 1 and 22 December, and one immediately after the stop (scheduled from 23 December to 5 January), Thursday 6 January 2022. In addition to the Christmas break, the championship will also stop on the weekends of 5 September (three world qualifying matches are scheduled against Bulgaria, Switzerland and Lithuania respectively on 2, 5 and 8 September), in that of 10 October (on 6 there will be the semifinal of Nations League in Milan against Spain, on 10 one of the two finals), in that of 14 November (again for world qualifiers, 12 against Switzerland and 15 against Northern Ireland). In 2022 the championship will leave room for Mancini’s Italy on the weekends of January 30 and March 27.

The second round asymmetrical
Recall that for the first time the calendar will see the second round asymmetrical, that is completely different from the outward one. The only constraint represented by the fact that the return of the same match cannot be played before eight matches have already been played, that is, on the first day of return there will be a match of the first 11 days and not of the last eight.

I derby
The first derby next season of Serie A, scheduled on the sixth day of the championship, Lazio-Roma. The return will take place on the 30th matchday. The second derby will be the one between Turin and Juventus, scheduled for the seventh day of the championship. The return scheduled for the 26th day. The Milan derby, between Milan and Inter, will be played on matchday 12, with the Rossoneri at home. The return will be on matchday 24.
