, representatives of Italy with their Shivers, who perform for noni. Guests Maneskin and Gigliola Cinquetti.

Here is the list of the 25 competitors, in order of release, with the relative song:

9:39 pm – France, the first of the Big Five

We are in the first country of the Big Five: France this year lines Alvan & Ahez with Fulenn, a highly tamarraggine song that combines electronics with traditional music (also in Breton language). Alvan an electronic artist and the Ahez are a Breton vocal group. The scenography pumps tongues of fire and green lights

21:32 – The Swiss busker

In these days Marius Bear, a Swiss competitor-busker who sings Boys Do Cry, also performed on the streets of Turin: a poetic ballad that invites you to express your vulnerability

9:29 pm – The Rasmus’ rock

A little disturbing is the yellow It-style balloon of the singer of The Rasmus. Their Jezebel brings rock to the stage and pays homage to strong, independent women with a guitar solo. It’s been nearly 20 years since their hit In the Shadows, but the sound hasn’t changed much

9:25 pm – The Portuguese Saudade

Very different atmospheres with the Portuguese Maro and her intense interpretation of Saudade, saudade. Surrounded by five singers, she brings all the nostalgia and melancholy of fado to the stage

21:20 – The Spanish Romania

There was much discussion on Llmame’s social networks, a song by the Romanian competitor Wrs with a Spanish-like atmosphere. He, a skilled dancer, re-proposes his flamenco-style choreography and the audience sings it already. It is not clear that there is something wrong with Romania, but it risks becoming a hit

21:17 – We start with the Czech Republic

The Czechs We Are Domi open the dance with Lights Off: dance with a riot of light effects. The guitar played with the bow, even this evening, adds nothing

9:08 pm – The team parade

All 25 countries parade on stage with their respective flags in an almost Olympic atmosphere. Ovation for Mahmood & Blanco. Then the conductors enter: shiny Laura Pausini, Alessandro Cattelan in a dark suit and Mika dressed in white. the grand finale, we’re making history, says Laura. In the recap of the evening, the three reminded that you can only vote after the performances of all 25 competitors and that you cannot vote for your country

21:00 – The final begins

The final of the Eurovision Song Contest starts to the sound of Rockin ‘1000 in Piazza San Carlo in Turin singing Give Peace a Chance. Cristiano Malgioglio, blue jacket and yellow skirt, pays homage to Ukraine (but promises that his comments will be very bad towards all nations). The PalaOlimpico opens with Laura Pausini and a multi-lingual and multi-dress medley of her successes: Bienvenido / Le cose che vivi / Lo canto / La solitudine until the last single Box, for each song La Pau reveals a different dress , at the speed of a quick-change artist

20:54 – A hacker attack from Russia is feared

The Italian intelligence apparatuses have reported a possible imminent pro-Russian hacker attack against Eurovision: the goal would be to sabotage the counting of votes so as to prevent the eventual victory of the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra, currently among the favorites. All the details in the article by Fiorenza Sarzanini.

8:32 pm – Zelensky’s cheering for the Kalush Orchestra

Soon in the Eurovision final, the continent and the whole world will hear the words of our language. And I believe that, in the end, this word will be “Victory”! Europe, vote for the Kalush Orchestra. Cos cwith a short video on Telegram Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has launched an appeal to support the candidates from Kiev who are among the favorites tonight in the Turin final. Recalling that their code number 12 Zelensky concluded by stating We support our compatriots! Let’s support Ukraine !.

8:02 pm – Performances by guests and conductors

In addition to the race, Laura Pausini (presenter together with Alessandro Cattelan and Mika) sings a medley of her hits and then arrive on stage as guests Maneskinlast year’s winners, and Gigliola Cinquetti
the first Italian to win Eurovision, which will re-propose Non ho l’et, the song with which he triumphed in 1964.

7:53 pm – Who are the finalists (and who are the favorites)

Which singers and which bands qualified for the final? This evening, 25 artists will perform on stage: in addition to the so-called Big Five (i.e. the representatives of the five countries that have direct access to the final: Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Great Britain), there are the 20 who qualified during the two semifinals on Tuesday and Thursday. Here Arianna Ascione tells them all and all. Instead in this deepening Andrea Laffranchi, who among our correspondents in Turin, explains who are the favorites and why.

7:36 pm – Conchita Wurst: Kalush Orchestra are the favorites, their “Stefania” a great song

Conchita Wurst, winner – representing Austria – of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, is unbalanced on who could triumph tonight. According to the singer, Stefaniathe song of the Ukrainians Kalush Orchestra, a great song. Not only that: in his opinion, the Kiev band made a great performance on stage. I think they are the favorites, they are at the top of the list of those who can win, Wurst said.

The singer, consulted by Askanewshe added: Eurovision always has something to do with politics in some way. The sense of bringing people together. In my opinion, political leaders must see this contest and understand that love is the only answer. A clear reference to the war in Ukraine which closes with a wish: that the Eurovision festival is the bearer of a message of peace

7:33 pm – Where to see the final?

The live broadcast of the Eurovision final evening will be broadcast by Rai 1 in prime time. The performances will be commented – as in the two semifinals – by Gabriele Corsi, Christian Malgioglio e Carolina Di Domenico. The appointment at 20.30 for the preview, to be followed by the actual race (from 20:35).

7.10 pm – Maneskin’s performance: they will sing Supermodel and a song by Elvis

Great expectations for the Maneskin performance, winners of the 2021 edition of Eurovision e super guests of the evening (together with Gigliola Cinquetti). Tonight, the Roman band will bring their new single Supermodel, released on Friday, to the stage for the first time. Not only that: Damiano and his companions will dedicate a tributo ad Elvis Presley singing If I can dream. The song is part of the soundtrack of the film Elvis (directed by Baz Luhrmann, in theaters in June).

6:51 pm – Money (Rai): Spirit of rebirth at Eurovision

the day of the final ad Eurovision Song Contest Torino 2022. There is a spirit of rebirth in this event. We experienced it for the first time in Sanremo, said the Rai president Marinella Soldi in a long interview with the American magazine Variety dedicated to the festival, which Rai produced as Host Broadcaster. Although war is causing pain and suffering in Europe and around the world, I believe the public still has a “basic human right” to joy, Soldi added.
