The classic Antoine de Saint-Exupéry comes to life in a completely new way thanks to two events that promise to appeal to adults and children.
‘The Little Prince’ arrives in Embera Chamí: “Chi Charcheke”
One of the special events publication of the book “Chi Charcheke”, translation into Embera Chami of “The Little Prince”. This indigenous language, native to the Choco region of Colombia, will be enhanced by the adventures of the little prince and his faithful fox. The translation, a meticulous work that respects the cultural and linguistic characteristics of the Embera Chami, It aims to bring universal literature closer to indigenous communities and strengthen their identity.
During the launch, details about the translation process and its importance in the preservation of native languages will be shared. In addition, copies will be provided to institutions and individuals present, symbolizing the relationship between cultures and the importance of literature as a bridge between different worlds.

“The essential is invisible to the eyes”: a shifting perspective
The celebration will continue with the musical “What is necessary is invisible to the eyes”, a drama adaptation of “The Little Prince” by the company La Rueda Flotante. What makes this platform special is participation blind actors and actresses, who, through their voices and heightened senses, bring life to the characters and emotions of the story.
The work will be presented in three languages: Spanish, French and Embera Chamí, creating a multi-sensory experience that invites the public to think about the universal values present in the story, such as friendship, the importance of the invisible and finding happiness.
An event for everyone
Both events will be held this Wednesday, October 23 at the French Federation Theater, Central Headquarters, at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free with advance registration. This initiative aims to democratize access to culture and promote inclusion, creating a space where people of all ages and origins can enjoy literature and art.
