“I can confirm the information that the child died after being transported to the hospital. We will not provide any further information at the moment,” police spokeswoman Eva Hašlová told TN.cz.
She added that the police officers are working intensively on the case and performing all tasks. According to her, more information should be available later this week, the legal qualification has not been determined yet.
The accident happened on Sunday evening in Libušín in the Kladno region. A four-year-old girl fell out of a car that was traveling at about 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
The car was driven by a 36-year-old woman. According to the police, the child was sitting in the passenger seat and was not restrained. When it crashed, it crashed into a parked car. A rescue helicopter also intervened on the spot. Read more in this article on TN.cz.
