Jakarta –
Already 12 countries have confirmed participation in 2022 World Cup. Latest, there is Dutch who made it through directly to Qatar.
The UEFA zone qualifiers have been completed, resulting in the 10 group winners being confirmed to seal a ticket to the World Cup. There are no Italian and Portuguese names on the list, because both of them have to undergo playoffs with 10 other countries to fight for the remaining three slots from Europe.
The Netherlands became the latest country from the blue continent to advance after a 2-0 win over Norway. Team Orange is following in the footsteps German, Denmark, French, Belgium, Croatia, Spanish, Serbia, England, and Switzerland who had already qualified.
The Asian zone has just passed Qatar as the host, because the qualifying phase is far from over. Likewise with the CONMEBOL zone, which just passed Brazil. The African Zone and CONCACAF are also unfinished, and neither has passed. The same applies to the Oceania zone.
