The liquidation of the company SIA “Silverback”, which was previously known as “Mooz!”, Started by the advertising specialist Ēriks Stendziniekis, has started, according to the information “Firmas.lv”.
The liquidation process of the company started on Friday, November 12.
Representatives of Mooz Ltd. stressed that “Mooz!” is still active, partly autonomously, partly within the McCann group. “This means that ‘Mooz!’ Is a working company with both customers and employees,” the company said, noting that “Mooz!” currently has nothing to do with Silverback.
The deal between Stander and McCann in the summer of 2018 included more than just “Mooz!” brand sales, but also all company-related assets. As a result, McCann took over the advertising business, contracts and customers.
“Mooz!” continues to employ both a team of people and offer advertising services to customers.
The then “Mooz!” Chairman of the Board Stendzenieks told LETA that in the summer of 2018, selling “Mooz!” McCann sold only the brand, name and reputation to the advertising agency, but the company itself remained his property.
In 2020, Silverback had a turnover of 132,773 euros and a profit of 61,566 euros.
The company was registered in November 1995 and has a share capital of 3,600 euros. Vita Gaisma and Gita Šmite own 35% of the company’s capital, while Stendzeniek owns 30%.
SIA “Mooz” was registered in 2002, and its share capital is 2845 euros. The company belongs to SIA “MWG”, where 56% of the company’s capital belongs to Kristaps Siliņš, 36% – to Ainārs Ščipčinskis, but 10% – to Ieva Danieljana. In 2020, Mooz had a turnover of 282,801 euros and a profit of 23,364 euros.
