Faced this Friday, February 25 “with a local social movement”, the French rail operator is planning major disruptions on the Metz-Luxembourg line. The Grand Ducal destination leaves no room for doubt about the public of travelers targeted by the strikers: cross-border workers. In detail, the following are already deleted: nine trains linking Metz to Luxembourg, two trains linking Metz to Thionville and finally two last from Thionville to Luxembourg. The SNCF also indicates the timetables of the impacted TER trains, namely those departing from Metz to Luxembourg (6:46 a.m. and 7:46 a.m.) and 7:36 a.m. departing from Thionville. In the return direction, at the end of the day, trains at 3.16 p.m., 4.46 p.m., 4.58 p.m., 6.16 p.m., 8.09 p.m. and 9.39 p.m. will not be operated from Luxembourg.
The operator will grant this Friday an exceptional regime to users by allowing them to take the RGTR bus lines 298, 299, 300, 301, 303 and 323 on proof of their TER transport ticket.
