TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – People who have blood type A are said to be more susceptible to having an early stroke.
Apart from that, several studies also provide similar statements.

Regarding this, the neurologist, Dr. Al Rasyid SpS(K), responded.
According to Dr Rasyid, people with blood type A tend to have a perfectionist character.
This perfectionist nature can sometimes push a person to become emotional and ultimately affect blood pressure.

“So blood type A is usually a perfectionist. Not because of blood type but the nature of the person. The effect is because everything’s emotions (must be perfect), tension quickly increases,” he said when met by media crew, Thursday (12/10/2023).
According to Dr. Rasyid, the causal factor is genetic or inherited from parents.
Furthermore, it exemplifies other blood types such as B.
“Group B is more relaxed, so they don’t think about tension too much. If A is even a little imperfect, they don’t get emotional because they want to be perfect. If they continue to be emotional, the effect will be high tension. This is a risk factor for stroke,” he explained.
He also appealed to people who have risk factors to get tested.
Especially if you have a genetic history and comorbid diseases.
“So if your family suffers from diabetes mellitus, be careful with your children. For example, reducing sweet foods,” said Dr. Rasyid again.
Likewise with hypertension, reduce salty foods and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
“Maybe don’t speed up bad talent. If you prevent it from the start, it might not arise,” he concluded.
