Water is cut off in Atala in northeastern Tampere and its surrounding areas due to a broken water pipe, informs Tampere vesi. According to the company’s disturbance map, the disturbance area extends all the way to the Tasante district.
Water supply has been interrupted for the time being. Distribution will be restored when the leak is contained and repair work completed, but the outage is expected to last at least until the afternoon.
Due to the repair work, the flow directions of the network have changed, which is why the water in the area can become cloudy. The sediment is removed for a while by running water.
Tampere water apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the crime.
