“The Limited Edition USB Stick for Storing Nostalgic Archive: A Practical Choice for Preventing Reselling?”

They probably chose a generic USB stick on purpose, so that it will not be sold for double on ebay / marketplace later on. Since it is a limited edition and you can only purchase it in one day, that will of course increase the price if someone resells the USB stick.
In addition, it is intended for the storage of the archive and not so much for the speed of the stick or something like that.

It would have been nicer if they had made their own USB stick (read: engraved or 3D printed the housing), but that will reveal on the outside that it is a limited edition. But as I said, they’re doing it means they’ve thought about it. I wonder if the stick is read only, or if you can also make copies of it. Then they might as well put it in the web archive for everyone to read/watch.

It’s a nice idea to release the full archive. Got the magazine a few times via Tweakers, but haven’t looked at it since. Is in the attic with the rest of the magazines from Tweakers, Autoweek, Computer Idee and Tips and Trucs. Something about nostalgia
