Just a few days after Warsaw Pact troops entered the country, Yvonne Přenosilová left Czechoslovakia and settled in Munich. Although she did not succeed in resuming her career as a singer, she was nevertheless passionate about journalism and worked, from 1987, in the Czechoslovak section of Radio Free Europe, collaborating in particular with the singer-songwriter Karel Kryl.
