Yesterday, the management of HELLENiQ ENERGY proceeded with the announcement of the annual financial results for 2023.
The CEO Mr. Andreas Siamisii described the performance as strong, although the group’s profitability last year declined compared to 2022, when the energy crisis brought unprecedented financial figures to the businesses of the sector.
He did not hide his satisfaction as he pointed out that EBITDA of 1.2 billion euros and net profits of 606 million euros signal a return to normality.
Volunteering
However, during the analysts’ briefing after the announcement of the annual results, management officials made it known that a voluntary exit program is underway. It aims at the departure of around 200 people with many years in the group, high salaries and in specialties that HELLENiQ ENERGY no longer needs.
