The Leuven choir performs a piece of music that was not allowed to the composer

Music also led to the creation of the Leuven Alumni Choir. Vits had previously performed Frank Martin’s piece as director of the University of Leuven Choir. It was the choir members of that time who asked him to do it again and that was the beginning of the Leuven Alumni Choir with 50 singers.

Yesterday the choir performed not only the music of Frank Martin, but a complete concert entitled “Quasi nix” focusing on silence, including works by Maurice Duruflé, Francis Poulenc and Olivier Messiaen.
