Hitekno.com – Lenovo just introduced tablet new in premium class with unusual features. Carrying the commercial name as Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro, the tablet can also serve as external screen.
Some of the selling points are flagship class chipsets, premium speakers, and spacious screens. We can even use the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro as an external display for laptops and smartphones via the included micro-HDMI port.
Connecting it to an external display also lets you activate desktop mode, similar to the one we saw in the Samsung DeX feature.
In the Lenovo official site, the device can be used as an external display connected to the Nintendo Switch console.
Speaking of innards, the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory (UFS 3.0).
The device runs the Android 11 operating system which is customized into Lenovo’s ZUI interface. The new tablet has a 13-inch LTPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2,160 x 1,350 pixels (16:10) and a peak brightness of 400 nits.
Even though it only supports the standard 60 Hz refresh rate feature, the panel is equipped with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and covers 100% of the sRGB spectrum.
Quoted from NotebookCheck, the device has four JBL speakers (2x 2.5W and 2 x 2W), Dolby Atmos, and three microphones. With a jumbo screen, the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro is also equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery.
It is still unknown whether the tablet supports fast charging, but we would expect the charging speed to be 45 W.
Although targeting the premium segment, this one tablet is not equipped with a rear camera. It seems that Lenovo thinks that tablet users are not too concerned with the rear camera.
The Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro is equipped with an 8 MP front camera along with a ToF sensor. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB-C 3.1.
The price of the Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro is priced at 3,300 yuan or Rp. 7.4 million. The device is still limited in availability in China and it is still unknown regarding global availability.
Given that the Yoga series has been widely introduced globally, we hope that this one tablet will be available to the international market soon. The Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro brings features that are rarely found on other tablets, making it an attractive option in the premium class.
