On Tuesday, the Jetman Dubai group reported on the death of an adrenaline sports lover on its Facebook page.
–
“We are very sad to announce that one of Jetman’s pilots, Vincent ‘Vince’ Reffet, died this morning, November 17, in training in Dubai,” the group said in a statement.
–
“Vince was a talented athlete and a beloved and respected member of our team,” the statement said.
–
Jetman Dubai is said to be cooperating fully with local ranks to investigate the whole tragedy. The group does not say exactly what was behind the death.
–
Reffet entertained the whole world with his acrobatic stunts. He jumped, for example, from the top of the world’s longest building, the Burj Khalifa, or crossed the Alps with his colleague and founder of the Jetman Dubai group, the Swiss Yves Rossy.

It was on Rossy’s device that Jetman Dubai pilots were able to fly on wings with jets at speeds of up to 402 kilometers per hour. “Everything we do is new. We have so many dreams and life is so short, “Reffet said in an interview with AFP last month.
