One of the pioneers of the domestic hip hop music genre – rapper Kurt from the legendary association “S’T’A” – has just announced the return of music and announced the release date of his second solo album, which is expected in a few weeks. Kurt’s long-awaited second hip-hop solo album will be released on October 7, and the artist has named it “Time”.
As Kurt revealed in a live video to his social network followers, the album will feature more than 10 new compositions created by the artist in 2021. Along with Kurt, the album will feature several guest artists, and the musician has never worked with any of them. Although Kurt does not reveal the names of the guest artists, it is known that two of the artists are beloved and well-known musicians in Latvia, but two more are the new, rising hip hop stars of Finland.
“For many years I have had to answer questions about when my new album will be released. Then finally the listeners’ patience has been crowned with success, and very soon the album will be submitted to their evaluation. During the making of this album, I have spent many months in the studio, deliberately distancing myself from everything that is going on around me, creating new compositions with new breath. I revealed both my vision of the world and the insights and observations I have accumulated over the years, ”says Kurt.
Kurt is one of the pioneers of the Latvian hip hop music genre, along with such well-known domestic rap old masters as Ozols, Gustavo, etc. Kurt gained more recognition in the early 2000s with the band S’T’A, city views ”etc. In 2006, Kurt’s solo album“ City Legends ”was released in collaboration with DJ Krii. Since the release of his first solo album, Kurt has been active in the hip hop genre periodically: he once formed the international hip hop musicians’ association SEKKTA, and then released several singles, proving that music is still an essential part of his life. Kurt has won the hearts of hip hop music fans with both technical performance and meaningful messages that permeate his songs.
