The legendary member of the group Progres 2 died. Pelc succumbed to a serious illness

Together with Pavel Váně, Zdenek Kluk, Miloš Morávek and Roman Dragoun, Pelc was one of the key members of the Progres 2 group, where he worked as a bass guitarist and keyboard player.

He contributed significantly as an author and performer to the main art projects of the Progres 2 group, including the music albums Dialogue with the Universe and The Third Jungle Book, which belong to the peaks of Czech and Czechoslovak rock music of the 1970s and 1980s.

The Dialogue with the Universe project was even the first rock opera in Czechoslovakia and the entire then Eastern bloc, and received more than three hundred reruns.

In 2016, Progres 2 was inducted into the Beat Hall of Fame.
