The star of the Bulgarian operetta Donka Shishmanova has left us, BNT reports.
For decades, the famous soprano has shone on the stage of the Stefan Makedonski National Musical Theater.
She has performed all the main female roles in the classical operetta repertoire. Her fans will remember her with her tours around the world, with her film roles, with the performances in “Beautiful Elena”, “The Merry Widow”, “Countess Maritsa”, “Bel Ami”, “The Queen of Chardasha” and many others. The service will take place on Wednesday, May 4, at 1.30 pm in the St. Sophia Church.
