The two grandchildren are the only boys in the Newman-Woodward family since Paul’s only son, Scott, died of an overdose in 1978.
Peter Elkind hasn’t shared much with the world and so we know little about him. On his page Facebookit can be seen that he loves nature and the outdoors and seems to enjoy various sports and athletics.
In the few photos he has shared on social media, you can clearly see the same beaming smile as his grandfather and the same piercing blue eyes.

His grandson spoke about his grandfather Paul in the recent HBO documentary titled The Last Movie Starsa six-part documentary series dedicated to the beautiful love story and career of his famous grandparents.
In fact, in the documentary series, Peter says, “I knew the movies and thought they were really good, but he was more like my grandfather.”
Speaking on Paul’s death from lung cancer in 2008, Peter said: “It was very hard when he died because he was such a big part of my life. I admired him so much and loved him so much that it was really hard to see, the same way it’s hard for anyone to watch someone they consider very strong become so weak.”
As for her brother Henry Elkind, we know he graduated last year and appears to be living in New York. Henry is a musician and has released many songs on popular streaming sites where he shares his art.
