THE LEFT! will make requests for a large-scale labor reform with improvement of working conditions, increase of incomes for workers and pensioners, as well as for adoption of a budget for 2023. with a guaranteed increase in the minimum wage to 50% of the average wage, reaching BGN 850 from July 1, recalculation of all pensions based on insurance income for 2022 and a minimum pension not lower than the poverty line of BGN 504, as well as an increase in wages with 10% for all in the budget sphere, in which there has been no increase since 2022. this way.
Among the demands of the LEFT! are in favor of fairer taxation in which working people do not pay a higher percentage of the tax burden than transnational corporations and cartel sectors and insist on the collection of excess profits tax on the banking, telecommunications, arms, fuel and energy traders, as well and the large food chains. Among the left-wing coalition’s other proposals are a higher corporate tax rate of 15 percent for large businesses and the removal of state electricity subsidies for high-profit firms.
