/Pogled.info/ The “Left” coalition, which gathered just over 2% of the votes in the elections, was the only one to hold a press conference today. The leadership of the formation stated that they will continue to actively participate in political life. They admit that they are not particularly satisfied with the election result, they expected more serious support from the disappointed citizens with leftist convictions. They have the ambition to participate in all upcoming elections.
“Regardless of the fact that we will not be present in the 49th National Assembly, we will be actively present in Bulgarian politics, since the current configuration of the parliament with a right-wing majority makes us expect belt-tightening, restrictions and sanctions of all kinds,” said Valery Zablyanov.
“We will continue our fight outside the parliament to defend peace, to oppose any attempt to involve Bulgaria in the war, but to do it sincerely,” declared Maya Manolova.
