The Left supported a chess tournament for children in Kazanlak – 2024-09-02 04:59:32

/ world today news/ The Kazanlak chess player Konstantin Smilov from the third age group won the “DOLINA” cup in a chess tournament for children in Kazanlak, which was supported by the Coalition “The Left!”!

Nearly 30 children from the City of Roses took part in the competition. The participants were divided into four groups – I age group – kindergarten children; II age group – children up to 10 years old; III age group – children – up to 14 years of age and IV age group – grown up to 16 years old.

The participants of the tournament competed in seven rounds and showed enviable results. Even the youngest participants – the children from the kindergarten – competed with particular enthusiasm.

And as in any competition there are winners and losers. In each age group, the first three were awarded, they received a medal, a certificate and a subject prize. All participants in the tournament received a certificate of participation and a children’s encyclopedia as a souvenir.

The judge of the tournament was FM P. Draganova – judge of the Republican category.

The children’s chess tournament was organized on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Dolina newspaper and June 1 – Children’s Day.

Organizers of the tournament are “Dolina” newspaper and “Kazanlak 21” Chess Club with the support of “Levitsata!” Coalition.

The competition will be held under the motto “Children – the sunshine of Kazanlak”.

The organizers announced that the tournament will become a tradition and will be organized every year. They wished the children health and a lot of enthusiasm in achieving their dreams and high sports honors.
