“THE LEFT!” in Burgas insisted on the withdrawal of the bill on the deployment of wind generators in the Black Sea – 2024-02-10 22:27:56

/ world today news/ “THE LEFT!” insists on the withdrawal of the bill on the deployment of wind generators in the Black Sea. If the document is accepted in its form, it will destroy our fishing and tourism, and by law. This was stated to the media in Burgas by Dr. Plamena Zayachka, deputy chairman of the ABV PP.

She defined yesterday’s round table on the issue, organized by the petitioners, as absurd and emphasized that the bill is lobbyist and should be stopped right now. It certainly does not serve the public interest, the fishing community or the tourism industry, on the contrary, it is catastrophically damaging. That will be the end, added Dr. Zayachka. She explained that a number of branch organizations, such as tourism, fishing, hotel, restaurant, environmentalists, demanded that the proposed regulatory changes be withdrawn immediately.

The militarization of Burgas and the region, as well as the deployment of wind generators in the Black Sea, are ruining tourism, which is the only source of livelihood for local residents. This catastrophic prospect is the reason “THE LEFT!” to schedule urgent meetings with the industry tourism organization and that of fishermen, pointed out the regional chairman of the ABV Anton Kodjabashev.

The chairman of ABV Rumen Petkov emphasized that the management of the assembly calls into question the national security of Bulgaria, there are a series of examples of crimes against the Bulgarian society and state. The government is militarizing Bulgaria to an extent unlike any other European country, Bulgaria has no sovereignty, he added.

Petkov is adamant that the militarization of our country, in general, including the Black Sea and especially the southern region, has disastrous and unpredictable consequences. He emphasized that Bulgaria currently does not have an active army (more than 13% incomplete), but at the same time there are impressive efforts aimed at multinational combat groups and, in general, at foreign troops. The military in the region of the Black Sea, Sliven, Stara Zagora, Yambol is gaining dramatic proportions from the point of view of the atmosphere, he added. In the indicated regions, the Ministry of Defense also plans to build fuel storage facilities, without an environmental impact assessment (by decision of the Council of Ministers), arguing that these are specific NATO actions.

And more infrastructural military decisions – the planned construction of the Shabla test site changes the purpose of land properties of 85 decares – for the construction of a field warehouse for the storage of ammunition; road and access to the test site Novo selo, Mokren village, Kotel municipality, Sliven district – four warehouses. It is not clear what the ammunition will be in them. And what affects the Black Sea is the construction and development of the infrastructure for formations in Kabyle – the multinational fighting group. Increased NATO vigilance. Also, construction and modernization of the port infrastructure of the naval base “Varna”, construction and modernization of the port infrastructure of the naval base “Burgas”.

Behind the plans for the construction of military infrastructure for the purposes of “multinational troops” are a series of unanswered questions, where a possible dark confluence of circumstances will obliterate entire regions in Bulgaria, Rumen Petkov pointed out. He again stated the position of “THE LEFT!” for the end of the current government and the scheduling of new parliamentary elections.
