The Media Directorate of the Lebanese Democratic Party condemned the attack on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBCI) building in Adma by throwing a hand grenade yesterday evening.
And it considered in a statement, “Once again, a media outlet is being attacked in this criminal way, which almost claimed the life of any of the institution’s employees, as the persistence in infringing the media and repeating such acts is unacceptable and condemned, as respect for freedom of opinion remains.” Expression is sacred, and the judiciary and the law remain the only way to guarantee the protection and preservation of rights for all.”
She expressed full solidarity with colleagues at LBCI, calling on the judicial and security agencies to expedite the detection and accountability of the perpetrators.
