This week, the Leal Theater in La Laguna hosts three cultural proposals that cover music, comedy and theater. The programming begins tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:00 p.m., with the singer Noemí Richarte, which will be followed by the show by the comedian Maru Candel, at 8:00 p.m. On Friday, October 18, at 8:30 p.m., it will be the turn of the Zálatta Teatro company and its work The Pit.
The monthly event of the Laguna Effect concert series will feature the Canarian singer Noemí Richarte. With a fresh and renewed style within Spanish pop, Richarte will present his first LP, Comings and comingsa personal work that combines his voice with guitar and piano, and includes both original songs and covers.
This concert, promoted by the Culture Department of the La Laguna City Council, through the Autonomous Organization for Musical Activities (OAAM), will allow the interested public to enjoy an artist who is beginning to take off on the island’s music scene.
On the same day, the Andalusian comedian and singer Maru Candel will arrive at the Teatro Leal with a new show of stand-up comedymusic and improvisation. With this proposal, Candel will try to offer a close and fun experience thanks to the fresh and vibrant humor that characterizes it. On Friday it will be the turn of the Zálatta Teatro company, which will perform ‘La Fosa‘ on stage, a text by Pedro Carrasco directed by Telesforo Rodríguez. It is a powerful and moving work that tells the stories of five characters who find themselves in a mass grave after being shot. Throughout the story, the characters will relive their last experiences while trying to understand why they ended their lives in those circumstances.
