the League would consider tightening the health protocol

A new health protocol is about to be validated by the National Rugby League (NRL), according to RMC Sport. The objective would be to prevent the end of the season from being disrupted, with many matches postponed, as with Grenoble. The NRL would even have provided for disciplinary sanctions in the event of non-compliance with the medical protocol.

The main lines of this strengthening of measures were presented last week to club presidents, then to coaches. A very strict protocol which does not satisfy the Top 14 and Pro D2 clubs, already very constrained.

.

Among the various measures, wearing a mask more than ever compulsory, players must arrive and leave training in rugby uniform, all activities must be done outside or the ban on celebrating trials through contact with his partners.

If this protocol were not applied, the NRL could give, again according to RMC Sport, a lost match or impose a fine ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 € per violation found.

This would also result in a higher frequency of PCR tests: three times a week, including a test three days before the match and another the day before.
