With a constant tone of parody, humor and a whirlwind of actions with some pauses that take us back to the turns from the beginning to the end, the animated film The League of Super Pets, a production directed by Jared Stern, premiered in Colombia.
In the voices of its protagonists, all animals, are that of Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Kevin Hart, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves, among the best known.
Synopsis:
This story tells us how Krypto, a labrador retriever who is Superman’s pet and has superpowers, must take on a mission to find his master, who, like other Justice League heroes, is kidnapped by a villain who wants to end the world.
In this adventure Kripto will learn to work as a team, to make friends, to be more sociable, less selfish, humble, and to sacrifice important things for love, even his life if necessary.
But Krypto is not the only one who has to face all the obstacles to accomplish the task, he is accompanied by other characters taken from an animal shelter, which their previous owners have abandoned. Such is the case of Ace, a dog who dreams of living on a farm with his friends PB, a pig who wants to be adopted, Merton, an almost blind tortoise who only likes to eat lettuce and Chip, a squirrel afraid of making decisions.

The League of Superpets is a production for the whole family, which has various morals and metaphors between the lines that teach the necessary values in a society. Its characters, the pets, all have a special motivation as well as fears to face and overcome, and not just the common enemy that wants to destroy them.
And it is that value that they must find within themselves, more than the powers they may have, that will make them true heroes and, in turn, inseparable friends.

As was said at the beginning of this text, this is also a film that knows how to make fun of the sublime and pompous of the DC universe with all its already recognized characters, and for this it resorts to a well-planned humor from the script and carried out in a balanced way. in each scene, because there is also a bit of drama and moments that undoubtedly create laughter in the viewer.
Without a doubt, the league of Superpets is a production to entertain the family. For children in the company of their parents to spend a pleasant time with a story that is easy to consume, without complexities, that allows itself to be understood but that knows how to comply with an important maxim and that is knowing how to entertain, but creating and leaving emotions in those who see it.
