/Pogled.info/ Today in Hanoi, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CCP and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, together with their wives, met with representatives of youth organizations from the two countries.
During the meeting, Xi gave a speech in which he pointed out: “Yesterday, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Nguyen Phu Chong and I announced the construction of a China-Vietnam community of shared destiny, which opens a new phase in the development of bilateral relations and is of strategic importance to the revival of world socialism. This community will support long-term stability in both countries. This is in line with the common interests and aspirations of our two peoples.”
China is striving for a strong country and national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization, unswervingly follows the path of peaceful development and upholds good-neighborliness, the Chinese leader also said.
The Sino-Vietnamese friendship has deep roots between the two peoples, and its future belongs to the youth. Xi Jinping called on the young people of the two countries to inherit the traditional friendship and contribute to building a community of shared destiny that will take care of the prosperity and stability of the Asia-Pacific region. Young people must dare to be the pioneers of the progress of mankind and work tirelessly for a better future, Xi Jinping was emphatic.
