Jason David Frank, the actor and MMA athlete best known for his role as Tommy Oliver in Mighty Power Rangers morphine and the many spin-offs and movies have disappeared. She turned 49.
Initially, Frank was only going to appear in a few episodes Mighty Power Rangers morphine. He played the new Green Ranger, who turned out to be evil and had to be defeated. But his character was so popular that not only was he allowed to return as Gandalf (in white and much more powerful), but he also eventually became the actor with the most episodes of Power Rangers in pocket. Because his character, Tommy Oliver, became the connecting factor between the different Ranger teams, and therefore he starred in 257 episodes over thirty years, spread over eight different Power Rangers teams and two films.
His latest project was The Legend of the White Dragon, a film that would show a dark (and unofficial) version of the Power Rangers. The film, financed through crowdfunding, will be released in 2023.
Frank leaves behind two sons and two daughters.
