The Vice-President of the Honorary Court of the House of Representatives (MKD), Habiburokhman, suggested that the politicians of the NasDem, Hillary Brigitta Lasut, did not supervise the comic Mamat Alkatiri. Because, according to him, it would be just a waste of time.
“I followed the news of my colleague Hillary Brigitta Lasut’s complaint to the police against the Mamat comic Hillary having the right to be in a relationship, in my opinion the relationship is something that is not necessary because it will only drain energy and waste time. My advice as Vice President of MKD, Sister Hillary, does not need to follow up on the report, ”Habiburokhman told reporters Wednesday (10/5/2022).
Habiburokhman has assessed that roasts, insults or criticisms will not affect the name of a representative of the people. According to him, the credibility of the people’s representatives is judged by their performance.

“A people’s representative’s name won’t be good or bad just because of roasting, criticism or insults. But our credibility really depends on how well the performance benefits people, especially voters,” he said.
Politician Gerindra then came up with a solution. Those who criticize, he said, should be reprimanded or given an explanation.
“To those who criticize, we should just give an explanation or we could reciprocate because this is a democratic country,” Habiburokhman said.
However, if the criticisms made using harsh words, Habiburokhman asked not to be ignored.
“If the criticism is out of context, or even uses harsh words, it’s good to let it go because it’s the people who use those harsh words whose names get ugly,” he continued.
Hillary launches the police on Mamat Alkatiri
To be known, Hillary Brigitta Lasut reported the comic Mamat Alkatiri to Polda Metro Jaya. The complaint was filed in connection with the defamation allegations.
The report was made on October 3, 2022 in Polda Metro Jaya. In the report Brigitta was written as a victim.
Hillary uploaded a photo of the police report receipt to her Instagram account, @hillarybrigitta. In the post caption, Brigitta regretted the use of harsh words in the roasting material presented by Mamat Alkatiri.
He said the use of harsh words was inappropriate to use as a criticism. According to him, the use of harsh words is more appropriate, including bullying or verbal harassment.
Brigitta added that public officials, maids or any citizen have the right to the protection of their dignity from verbal violence.
As a law student, Brigitta admitted that she did not sue Mamat for fear of being called anti-critic. However, according to him, the relationship is to enforce the law for himself.
