The President Esteban Paredes is in trouble. San Antonio, the club that it acquired on March 13, which is part of the Second Division, was notified by the Court of Patrimonial Affairs of the ANFP that it must comply with the payment to which it was sentenced for just over 86 million pesos Chileans, last January, to San Felipe for the payment of the training rights of two soccer players.
“The controversy consisting of the collection claimed by Unión San Felipe regarding the alleged training rights of the players Ignacio Pinilla and Kevin Galdames, valued in the sum of USD $ 116,883 and USD $ 119,167 respectively, with interest and costs, against the San Antonio Unido Club”, Is explained in the brief of the ANFP Tribunal.
Despite the fact that San Antonio Unido presented an appeal to the accusation, it was only possible to reduce the amount to be paid to the victorious team in the case, Unión San Felipe. “It is reduced to the total sum of USD $ 117,622 in favor of CD San Felipe SADP for the training rights of the players Ignacio Pinilla and Kevin Galdames, plus current interest for operations expressed in foreign currency accrued after 15 days runs following the date on which this judgment is enforceable ”, it was drawn up.
The truth is that once the resolution was known, the Lila squad, of which the current attacker from Coquimbo has 89% of the shares, 1% of his father, filed an appeal in the Santiago Court of Appeals. It was declared inadmissible and, at that same moment, the cadre of the Fifth Region was left without margin of movement to be able to withdraw the economic sanction.
Today, the Court of Patrimonial Affairs of Quilín stands firm. And you don’t want any more delays. Through a report of more than 25 pages, signed by judges Claudia Schmidt, Rafael Gómez and Cristóbal Valenzuela, San Antonio is ordered to pay the sentence within a period of fifteen business days, which began to run on April 30.
If it is not canceled within the established period, the Tank team will be subject to the sanction provided for in article 46 of the ANFP statutes, that is, losing three points in the competitions organized by the National Football Association. Professional, for each week that the breach continues, a sanction that will be applied even during the time when the competitions of said association are not played, becoming effective, in this case, in the nearest tournament.
