Greater Noida: The strike of the lawyers who were protesting outside the DM office in Surajpur since Tuesday has ended. The District Magistrate has accepted all the demands of the District Bar Association Collectorate. After this, the advocates ended their strike and returned to work. Let us inform that under the aegis of District Bar Association Collectorate, the advocates had started an indefinite strike outside the DM office on Tuesday with various demands. The main demand of the lawyers was that the Sub-Collector should meet the farmers and advocates before going to the Sadar Court. Parking arrangements should be made for vehicles in the Collectorate premises. Along with this, the lawyers alleged that corruption is at its peak in all three tehsils of the district. Which should be controlled.

Demand to change the timing of ADMJ court
In the letter written to the District Magistrate on behalf of Association Secretary Jaipal Singh Bhati and Secretary Hemant Sharma, it was said that the timing of ADMJ Court should be changed to 11.00 am instead of 2.30 am. The plaintiff and the defendant should be heard in the court of Sub-District Magistrate Sadar for stay order under section 116 and appeals. Cleaning should be done in the Advocate Complex Chamber located at the Collectorate. Spraying of insecticides should be done to eliminate snakes and poisonous creatures in the premises. The drain and collectorate land near the advocate complex should be cleaned, a tin shed should be constructed till the District Magistrate’s office, two clerks should be posted in Tehsil Sadar.

Committee will be formed to stop corruption
Apart from this, the lawyers demanded that the report should be sent to the Tehsil only after the case is registered under Section 24. Code 2006 regarding metering should be followed by the Revenue Inspector. Consolidation Officer and Settlement Officer Chakbandi have not been sitting in the court for the last six months, due to which justice is not being provided. The scope of rejections filed should be recorded in the misalbandh register of the Assistant Records Officer. Corruption among farmers and common man is at its peak in all three tehsils, for which action should be taken by forming an inquiry committee.
