Lawyer Inna Danilova, who represents the interests of 16-year-old Nikolai Kharkovsky, who is suspected of having committed a fatal road accident in Kharkov, said that the deceased Chevrolet driver was drunk. She claims that the victims and their representatives concealed this information.
Representative of victims Igor Chernyak confirmed that alcohol was indeed found in the blood of the deceased, but, according to him, this fact is not related to the cause of the accident and the death of the driver… Reported by the edition Newsroom and “Public”, referring to the information of the defenders.
Inna Danilova said that she received the case materials for review at the end of December, at the same time she learned about the results of the forensic medical examination on the death of Igor Nosov, who was driving a Chevrolet.
According to her, the document indicated two causes of death: bodily injury resulting from an accident, as well as alcohol intoxication. Danilova claims that the blood of the deceased was 3.65 ppm of alcohol.
She added that the fact of Nosov’s intoxication is important for the case, since “a person physically cannot react with such an amount of alcohol drunk”… Danilova intends to focus on this.
Representative of the victims Igor Chernyak said that the case file does not even mention “two causes of death” of the Chevrolet driver.
“There is only one cause of death in the examination: incompatible with life cumulative trauma to the body. This is medical terminology. One and only cause of death,” he explained, adding that the presence of alcohol is indicated as a concomitant factor.
Chernyak also claims that it was impossible to avoid an accident, since the technical examination showedthat he did not have the technical ability to avoid the accident.
“There is less than one second of the time interval between the time he started to move and this obstacle appeared. He began to move according to the rules,” the lawyer emphasized.
We will remind, on Thursday it became known that the case of a fatal accident in Kharkiv, of which Nikolai Kharkivsky is suspected, will be considered by the judgewho earlier gave him a suspended sentence for shooting people. In particular, the case was assigned to judge Tatyana Yantsovskaya.
