In 2006 Banamex stalked him for trying to cash a cloned check. When he was arrested, he pretended to be sick and was admitted to the hospital in La Paz, from where he jumped out the window to escape.
In 2011, when he was arrested, he had six cases against him for fraud. One of these processes came from American Express.
The lawyer was executed in the Costco Puebla parking lot
Fernando Castillo was constantly on his way to Mexico City, but on the morning of this November 1st he was intercepted in the parking lot of Costco Puebla. The lawyer was in an Audi-type luxury van with a PZC-066-C license plate from the state of Guerrero.
Hours before the lawyer was killed in the Costco Puebla parking lot, he posted a post on his Twitter account. The post is an image of Benito Juárez called “Juárez our hero” which accompanied the description “educating a president”.
He had more than 17,000 followers on that social network and in his description he called himself a lawyer, columnist, Catholic and pro-life. He was the father of a teenager. He shared his private life on his Instagram account.

At present, the Citizens’ Security Secretariat (SSC) has only reported that it was a direct attack, in which another person was injured.
