Very early this Saturday morning, the 911 line requested the intervention of Formosa police officers at the home of the lawyer, Daniel Suizer, in the San Francisco neighborhood.

According to preliminary information, there was a strong discussion at the scene between Suizer and his wife, regarding the “excessive control” that the former would exercise over the complainant, with surveillance cameras and listening devices in different parts of the house.

As the argument became more aggressive, the woman wanted to leave the home but apparently the lawyer did not allow it, so the woman opted to get into the family vehicle, lock the doors and honk the horn to ask for help.

In the complaint she also stated that she was attacked by her partner on previous occasions and when she was inside the vehicle, she stated that he told her: “If I want to hurt you, I’m going to hurt you, I’m going to kill you (SIC).

In the complaint he also clarified that Suizer is capable of carrying out his threats because he is a violent person and requested exclusion from the home, prohibition of approach and dual device (georeferenced anklet or bracelet).

The lawyer was detained under arrest at the 3rd Police Station. From the San Miguel neighborhood at the disposal of the intervening judge and the General Gender Directorate of the Formosa police and the domestic violence office.

The Undersecretary for Women was also present in order to provide assistance to the victim. The victim’s daughter supported the allegations. In addition, the detainee’s cell phone was seized by personnel from the Scientific Police Directorate.
