Law No. 184 of 2020, amending some of the provisions of the Law on the Affairs of Members of the Medical Professionals who work in organizations linked to the Ministry of Health and the People who are not subject to specific laws or regulations, are placed a – issued by Law Decree No. 14 of 2014, and extending service to members of the medical profession, it specified the controls and conditions for making a contract with members of the medical professions After their retirement age of sixty-five .
The law states that the Minister responsible for health and population, the minister responsible for higher education and scientific research, or the minister responsible for supervising the University of Al -Azhar to contract with members of the medical profession from the date of termination of service to age. of sixty-five, in necessary cases, after taking the opinion of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, with the approval of the Ministry of Finance, within the limits of the financial allocations established in the budget of the entity , and subject to the following conditions:
A) Not breaking the maximum entry limit.
b) The contract will be for a period of one year, renewable for up to five years.
C) For employees of public organizations connected to the Ministry of Health and Population, Higher Education and Scientific Research, the contract will be terminated after receiving approval from the relevant authority.
The competent minister of health and population, the competent minister for higher education and scientific research, or the competent minister in charge of Al-Azhar University will issue a decision on the rules and procedures to governs contracts in the cases mentioned in the third paragraph of this article.
