The parliamentary publication “Voice of Ukraine” published the recently adopted law on mobilization.
The text of the law published on the “Voice of Ukraine” website. It is about the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization, and Military Registration” (No. 3633-IX).
This law enters into force one month from the day following its publication, except for certain specific provisions.
The law on mobilization in Ukraine – the latest news
On April 11, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in general the bill on mobilization No. 10449.
Before that, people’s deputies voted, in particular, to remove from the bill the provision on demobilization, which was in the first reading. It provided for the dismissal from service of military personnel who had served a total of 36 months during martial law.
On April 15, the law was returned with the signature of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, and on April 16, the law on mobilization was signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
For his part, the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, noted that “this is the best option we could hope for.”
