His Excellency Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, attended the second phase of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences mobile clinic program, which targets 150 seniors registered with the Ministry of Community Development, l ‘Community Development Authority, and the Emirati Association for Friends of the Elderly, at the headquarters of the Community Development Authority’s “Thukher Social Club” in Dubai, and as part of the provision of free health care by part of volunteer doctors and specialists, October 17 and 18, 2022.
The event was attended by Nasser Ismail, deputy undersecretary for the social security sector at the Ministry of Community Development, Dharar Belhoul, member of the Federal National Council, Muhammad Al-Kashf, member of the Federal National Council, Hariz Al-Murr, executive director of the assistance and development sector at the Community Development Authority; and Maryam Al-Salman, director of the Emirates Association to Friends of the Elders, a number of officials, volunteers and families of the elderly.
A free field service package is provided as part of the joint cooperation between the National Happiness and Quality of Life Program of the Ministry of Community Development and the Mohammed bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, where fully mobile clinics equipped continue to provide their services to the target groups, by doctors and specialists of the university. In addition to medical students and postgraduate students in dentistry, with the support of a number of volunteers, to organize and facilitate the provision of mobile clinic services to all target groups.
Treatment services provided to seniors include: vital signs, dentistry, ophthalmology, community side activities, and gift distribution. Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences Mobile Clinic Program, as part of cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, seeks to provide its treatment services to specific individuals, seniors and children in the Emirate of Dubai , with an estimated number of beneficiaries in the last quarter of 2022 in about 800 beneficiaries of various categories.
The program will continue in its third phase during November 2022, to provide free and integrated health care to a specific number of people.
