Annual concerts at the Latvian National Opera

Today, the Latvian National Opera and Ballet (LNOB) will open its doors to the audience, inviting to the Gala concert “Summer of Opera Stars”, LNA representative Irbe Treile informed LETA.


She said that for the first time tenor Pjotr ​​Bečala and the winner of the competition “Operalia 2019” Adriana Gonsales will visit Latvia. Bass baritone Egils Siliņš and LNOB soloists Tatjana Trenogina, Ilona Bagele, Mihails Čuļpajevs and Rinalds Kandalincevs will also sing with them in the concert.

The opera works will be interpreted by the LNOB orchestra and choir together with the soloists. The musical director of the concert will be LNOB chief conductor Mārtiņš Ozoliņš. The director of the concert is Dace Volfarte, but the lighting artist is Māris Sējāns. In turn, you will be able to listen to the live concert of “Latvijas Radio 3” – “Klasika”.
