american Media, Politicoreports that President Joe Biden’s administration will this week announce a new weapons package for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s troops.
Included in the package were an unknown number of Strykers—a type of military vehicle that can be equipped with machine guns or grenade launchers—and Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bombs. [Bom Diameter Kecil yang Diluncurkan dari Darat] which is also known as GLSDB.

While the idea of sending Strykers to Ukraine by the US has previously received media attention, Hodges took to Twitter on Wednesday about the GLSDB’s potential impact on the war.
“GLSDB (ground launched small diameter bomb) will reduce protection for Russia,” Hodges, who previously served as commander of United States Army Europe, wrote on Twitter.
“Life is going to start getting very uncomfortable for the Russian Navy, Air Force and ammunition handlers in the Crimea, along the ‘land bridge’…and hopefully also for the repair crews on the Kerch Bridge,” Hodges continued.
Reuters first reported in late November that the Pentagon was considering a decision to send the GLSDB to Ukraine. The news agency described the bomb as cheap and capable of being mounted on rockets available in Ukraine’s arsenal.
Still according to reports Reutersthe GLSDB will allow Zelensky’s troops to strike deep behind Russian lines as the West struggles to keep up with demand for more weapons.
The SAAB company developed the GLSDB in partnership with Boeing. On its website, SAAB describes the GPS-guided GLSDB as highly effective with the ability to be used from any angle and can be used in all weather conditions.
