In the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office the request for 5 kg of Crystal methamphetamine
Inspector General Teddy Minahasa’s lawyer Hotman Paris Nasution argues that evidence of 5 kilograms of methamphetamine – which was allegedly diverted in the narcotics case to Bukittinggi police headquarters – is still intact. Hotman Paris admitted that methamphetamine was in the hands of the prosecutor.
“There is something very new and this changes all the facts of the accident. Namely, recently after checking all the evidence that 5kg was considered to be in circulation, it was still intact by the prosecutor’s office as evidence in the trial of the defendant in Bukittinggi,” said Attorney Teddy Minahasa, Hotman Paris, at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta on Friday (11/18).
The 5kg trial is known to be under investigation in matters involving Teddy Minhasa. The 5kg methamphetamine is narcotics evidence that was shelved out of a total of 41.4kg of meth resulting from the disclosure of the case to the Bukittinggi Police.

Inspector General Teddy claims that he is not related to meth to Doddy
Teddy Minahasa allegedly ordered AKBP Doddy Prawiranegara, then Bukittinggi Police Chief, to exchange 5 kg of methamphetamine for alum. Hotman Paris argues that the discovery of 5 kg of methamphetamine still intact and in the hands of the prosecutor should be able to invalidate Teddy Minahasa’s suspicions.
“Of the approximately 39.5 kg that have been weighed, 5 kg of still intact evidence is kept by the Prosecutor. 35 kg has been destroyed. This means that the evidence found at Doddy’s house, Linda’s house and what has been circulating has no nothing like once with Teddy Minahasa,” Hotman explained.
Teddy Minahasa retires BAPs
Hotman said that from the new findings, his client had officially agreed revoke the declaration contained in the inspection report (BAP) which had previously been handed over to investigators. He felt that the drug evidence, which was the main problem in this case, had nothing to do with Teddy Minahasa.
“Today, Teddy Minahasa in his BAP stated that he had revoked all BAPs as suspects, both the first and second BAPs, and also revoked the BAPs that were given as witnesses for suspects Doddy and suspect Linda. Because all The evidence used as objects in this case has nothing to do with Teddy Minahasa because the confiscated evidence in this case is still intact,” he said.
