Jakarta, Selular.ID – Sony has once again hit the market with its newest camera device, the A7 IV. This mirrorless camera brings the sharpness of a 33 MP lens with a 33 MP Exmor R CMOS full-frame image sensor.
Thanks to the image processing engine, the hybrid AF features 759 phase-detection AF points, covering almost 94% of the image area. There is also face and eye detection for humans which has increased by up to 30% over its predecessor. Real-time eye tracking can now detect the eyes of birds and other animals for photos and videos.
Then on the ability to record images, the A7 IV can record 4K/60p video in Super 35 mode, or 4K/30p with 7K oversampling in full-frame mode.
Mirrorless cameras are also equipped with 5-way in-body image stabilization (IBIS), with available optical active modes. Then to enjoy the images, this device also has a 3-inch LCD monitor with a 1.03 million dot resolution.
Then in this section it is also designed with a flexible hinge, not to mention the dial that allows users to directly select the P/A/S/M/Auto mode and Memory Recall at the top.
Then to support the convenience of shooting, the A7 IV is equipped with a better grip and a magnesium alloy body design.
On the connectivity side there is Bluetooth 4.1 and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for remote operation and wireless data transfer. Then it has two media slots, one can accommodate SD or CFexpress Type A, while the other slot is only for SD cards.
Then this camera, which is priced at USD 2,500 or the equivalent of Rp. 35 million, can also be used as a webcam for video chats up to 4K/15p or FHD/60p resolution. But if you bring it with a kit lens FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS then the price becomes USD 2,700 (Rp 38.2 million).
