JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that 41 people died as a result of flash floods accompanied by landslides that occurred in East Flores, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
This was revealed by the Head of the BNPB Disaster Information and Communication Data Center, Raditya Jati in a virtual press conference, Sunday (4/4/2021).
On that occasion, Raditya corrected the data on the death toll due to flash floods in East Flores Regency from 44 people to 41 people.
“For fatalities, it is still in the process of data collection, indeed at the beginning 44 data (of people who died) appeared, which is data collected from friends in the field,” said Raditya.
“However, after we arrived at the field (location of the disaster) and re-verified, we currently have data on 41 people who died,” he added.

Furthermore, he also explained the number of injured victims to the number of families affected by the flash flood in East Flores Regency.
