A large number of players on PC complained about patch 2.1 for Cyberpunk 2077. In the latest major update, the game not only added a full-fledged metro, new romantic activities and the meme Keanu Reeves, but also introduced technical problems at least for some users.
In discussions on the game forum on Steam, the attention of players chained to a drop in frame rate after the patch. Some people only lost a couple of FPS and didn’t notice a difference, while others couldn’t reach more than 30 frames even with an RTX 4090 graphics card. And one of the players with an RTX 3060 had their target frame rate of 60 FPS drop to 40 frames per second.
The topic also shares some other problems, for example, the inability to control vehicles using a gamepad. Regarding frame rate, players are advised to update component drivers and install the game on a modern SSD drive.
